Here's the way this page these pages will work. People looking to buy
Elco boats or parts can email Chuck at:
Chuck will then put the request up on the page as soon as he can. There
is no charge for this service. Simply send a description of what you are
looking for along with your email address, shipping address and phone number.
People who have what you are looking for will then contact you directly,
you work out the details, and hopefully, both parties will be happy. Once
again, this part of the service is free!
For those of you with something to sell, the plan is similar. You send Chuck the descriptions, pictures, whatever. They will be posted as quickly as possible in the FOR SALE section. Here comes the "string". For this service, Chuck would like 2% of the sale price as an advertising commission! The ad will stay posted until you advise that it is to be removed.
Chuck knows that all true Elco owners (both boats AND parts) are real ladies and gentlemen and wouldn't try to "stiff" him on the sales commission. If he finds out that you have cheated him, he WILL get even, some how, some way. (Chuck is a VERY vindictive person who does not forget wrongdoing.) The Elco community is fairly small. If you want everybody to know what a "CHEAP PR**K" you are, don't send your 2% to Chuck. Stop and think, is 2% really all, that, bad? Most auctions charge 10% "Buyers Premium" (or as Chuck calls it, "Buyers Penalty). Regular advertising is expensive. Here, you get an established Elco site for a measly 2%!
Neither Chuck, The Electric Launch Company (Elco), or The Southeast and Northern Company, Inc. make ANY warranty, either expressed or implied as to the salability, quality, fitness of use or application, or any of the items listed here. This is ONLY a listing service to put buyers and sellers together.
'Nuff said, let's proceed:

Anyway, I have more of some of the parts in the pictures. I would be interested in entertaining offers from folks that might be trying to restore old yachts.

Some yo-yo removed the originals and replaced them with a set of 1960's cheesy dual throttle assemblies. Actually, I'd be interested in any instrumentation similar to that shown in the photo that you might have sitting around.

I also have several wall-mounted, brass light holders of the type which accepted standard lamp sockets with a two-handled, sliding switch. The catch is that "standard" back then meant each of the two switch handles or buttons could be unscrewed allowing the socket assembly to slide into the brass housing. The equivalent contemporary replacement socket has either stamped or crimped switch handles (sometimes one piece) which make it impossible to install them in the old housing. Any source for old original style sockets would be appreciated.

We are also interested in sedans or crusettes up to 50 feet OR, a fiberglass hull finished off to look as these did.
